Our next litter will come from Valorana DueNorth Bells and Whistles. The sire is undecided at this time
We breed our dogs to maintain genetic diversity with a goal to improved health and long life span. Our dogs are DNA tested at the University of Southern California and we carefully select mates that offer the best diversity for our females while still maintaining type. Our dogs are all included in the BetterBred database and listed on Flatcoatdata. All of our dogs are also listed in the public database at Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.

Puppy socialization is our passion. We start to work with our puppies at 3 days of age using the only sense that they have, scent. We put a lot of effort into our puppy program. From the ball pool, to the playpen, our puppies are experiencing new things each day. We work hard to develop a social dog that is used to children and strangers and is well travelled by the time the puppy goes to it's new home.
Puppies will be introduced to house training at 3 to 4 weeks and will be exposed to agility equipment, obedience articles, ducks, pigeons, grouse and much much more. All puppies will be walked daily after 6 weeks with their mom and be exposed to swim water, weather permitting. Puppies go to school for socialization at about 6 weeks (we can not do this at the moment due to Covid) as seen to the left with our 2015 litter. All puppies are started on house training and crate training.
Our goal is to produce healthy, loving family and hunting companion dogs, with excellent structure.
Our puppies must be family pets first and foremost. Flatcoats must live in the house!
At DueNorth our goal will always be to produce quality puppies from carefully selected & DNA tested parents. Co-ownerships available.
We do not breed for colour and all our puppies will be black.
Temperament Tests will be done using the techniques developed by Avidog. Based on the testing we do, WE determine the best home for each puppy!!!
